Our car parts courier work is built around one fact: a vehicle off the road costs its owner money by the hour. Parts come from the main dealer, the motor factor, the breaker or the body shop’s paint supplier, and they are needed at the workshop now, not on tomorrow’s van round. Panels and glass are carried flat or upright as the supplier packs them and secured so nothing rests on them; heavy units travel on the pallet or stand they are supplied on. The driver checks the part number on the invoice against the label before leaving the supplier, so a wrong pick is caught at the counter rather than at the workshop.

The same rate as every job: £40 for the first 10 miles then £1.25 per mile in a car or small van, or £60 then £1.80 per mile in a long wheelbase or Luton van for panels, engines and gearboxes, plus VAT, measured from supplier to workshop. A 25-mile parts run in a small van is £58.75 plus VAT.
The driver is at the supplier within 30 to 45 minutes of booking across London and the Home Counties, or within the hour elsewhere, and goes straight to you. Yes, in a Luton van, on the pallet or engine stand it is supplied on. Tell us the weight when you book so the vehicle has the payload for it, and whether there is a forklift or tail lift at each end. One driver comes with the van, so for heavy units someone at each end helps with loading.
Yes. Give us the dealer or factor, the invoice or order number and the account name, and the driver quotes it at the parts counter, checks the part number on the label against the invoice, and signs for it. If the part is wrong or missing, the driver phones you from the counter before leaving.
Yes. Give us the location as precisely as you can (what3words works) and the recovery driver’s phone number, and our driver calls ahead. The van is GPS tracked and our operators keep you updated on the way. The handover is signed and photographed like any other job.
Yes, in a long wheelbase or Luton van so they travel flat or upright as the supplier packed them, secured so nothing rests on them. The driver checks for damage before accepting the panel and photographs the condition at both ends, so any dispute with the supplier is settled by the pictures.
