First Choice Transportation Ltd was registered in November 2023 to put a company behind work its founder, Allam, had been doing for 15 years: moving goods around London and the UK, on time, for people who could not afford for it to go wrong.
Today it runs from Southgate, N14, in the London Borough of Enfield. Two operators answer the phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Thirty drivers across the UK take one job at a time, so a collection booked in London, Manchester or Glasgow has a driver on the way within the hour. More than 500 business and private customers have used the service.
We are not a franchise, a parcel network or a booking app. When you call 020 8202 2008 you speak to the operators who will book the job, choose the driver and phone you with updates until it is signed for.
What We Do
Dedicated-van work for businesses and private customers: same day, urgent, next day and overnight deliveries; large items and furniture; last mile and industry work from laboratory samples to exhibition stands. Cars, small vans, long wheelbase and Luton vans; HGV loads by quote. Every job is one vehicle and one driver, checked at collection, GPS tracked, and signed and photographed on delivery. Our Fleet
The courier fleet is cars and vans, matched to the load: cars and small vans for documents, parcels and single items; long wheelbase vans for furniture, long items and several pallets; Luton vans for wardrobes, white goods, bulk stock and pallet loads. Loads beyond a Luton van are moved by HGV and quoted per job.
Every vehicle is GPS tracked. Our operators watch the job and phone you as the driver collects, travels and delivers.
Where We Work
From Southgate we cover all 32 London boroughs and the surrounding counties, Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent, Surrey, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, with collection within 30 to 45 minutes of booking.
